History

Our story began in 1860 when Henry Diaper & Co Ltd opened its first public warehouse in the iconic Albert Dock on Liverpool’s bustling waterfront.

Almost 50 years later, a private Parliamentary Bill granted Diapers the authority to issue negotiable and transferable Warrants for products stored in our warehouses – financial tools that are still traded on the World Commodity Markets today.

Fast forward to the present, and Diapers has evolved into a dynamic logistics powerhouse. What started as a small part of a public warehouse has grown into a 500,000 sq. ft. warehousing complex, offering a full range of services, including ambient temperature storage, bonded storage, bulk liquid storage, national distribution services, and international freight forwarding.

We specialise in the storage of high-value, time-sensitive consumer products at strategic UK logistics centres, supported by an extensive distribution fleet and freight forwarding network.
